Crockpot Apple Sauce

yields two 8 oz jars

  • 10 apples
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • juice of 1/2 a lemon

 

 

 

 

Instructions

  1. Peel and core apples
  2. Add apples, water, lemon juice, cinnamon, and brown sugar to crockpot, stir
  3. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-7, stirring occasionally
  4. Using a potato masher or a hand blender, break down apples to desired consistency
  5. Let cool, then enjoy or jar for later use!
